Pedram Golnari

About Me

I’m a physician and third-year PhD candidate in Biomedical and Health Informatics at Case Western Reserve University in the department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences, advised by Dr. Satya Sahoo. My research lies at the intersection of medicine, artificial intelligence, and clinical decision support, with a focus on leveraging large language models (LLMs) and biomedical ontologies to extract knowledge from scientific literature. I’ve applied these tools to advance understanding and support diagnosis in neurological disorders like Dravet Syndrome and Parkinson’s Disease. My work integrates AI-driven clinical report generation, knowledge graph construction, and personalized decision-making systems to improve patient care and inform research.
